Dr. Gerry George

“I love dentistry because it’s a unique blend of art and science.”

The unique relationship between dentist and patient was the basis for Dr. George’s decision to jump into the dental field. Open communication is key to developing that relationship and he loves spending time talking with each patient he meets. It’s rare for a profession to combine a love for science, developing relationships, and hands on skill, but those three aspects are what make Dr. George’s career in dentistry something he is passionate about, and why he enjoys being able to provide that for a community he cares deeply about.

Dr. Gerry George grew up in Greenville, SC. He went to  Bob Jones University and received his undergraduate degree. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he met his wife, Stephanie Jean. Upon graduation he practiced in Seneca, SC, then Charleston, SC, and now Fort Mill.

Dr. George prioritizes continuing education. As a clinician he feels it is important to stay up to date with the ever-evolving world of techniques and materials to provide the best treatment for his patients. Throughout his career Dr. George has given back by volunteering at local clinics. Besides caring for his local community, Dr. George has participated and led several dental mission trips abroad to Ecuador, Peru, Thailand, and North Africa. He enjoys woodworking, hiking, and fishing. When he is not working you can usually find him hanging out with his wife and their children, Quinn, Esther, and Isaiah.
